Using OSINT to Protect – a Technique or Two Presentation

The presenter is a non-commissioned Intelligence Analyst with the St. Louis County Police Department.  He possesses over 15 years of experience in the law enforcement community, 6+ of those years in the intelligence arena.  He liaisons with numerous federal, state, and local agencies, as well as corporate security.  In addition to being a member of ASIS International, the presenter is a certified member of the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts. The presenter holds a Master of Applied Science in Business & Organizational Security Management, a graduate certificate in Cybersecurity – Threat Detection, and he possesses extensive law enforcement training and experience in open source intelligence and its use in investigations, including those of a high profile nature.   On this occasion, he plans to share a few open source techniques that may aid protection efforts on the business and/or home front.


Following is a proposed slate of Chapter Officers for 2020 with the Election of Officers scheduled for Thursday, November 14th, 2019 Breakfast Meeting.

These individuals have expressed a desire to serve the St. Louis Chapter in the office for which they have been nominated and have stated they will be available to attend chapter meetings and will commit a responsible amount of time to the office for which they have been nominated.

Nominations may also be made from the floor at this meeting by any chapter member, provided:

1. The nomination is seconded by another chapter member at the meeting.

2. The nominee consents to serve if elected.

3. The nominee specifies that he/she will be available to attend chapter meetings and will commit a responsible amount of time to the office for which he/she is nominated.

4. The nominee from the floor must be present or must have submitted a written statement to the Chairperson of the Nominating Committee agreeing to serve and stating his/her availability to attend meetings and devote a responsible amount of time to the elected office.
